If his second fight with Skelton is in his favour, Danny Williams gets a shot at the world title. And he said in a post fight interview lastnight that he could beat any heavyweight out there.
Is he capable?

he was the lightest he has ever been in 2 years in that fight
not sure.he does my head in when he switches of half way through the fight
Thing is that Danny has the potential to do so much but from what I'm hearing it was just a sparring session
danny would get ktfo by wlad like he did vitali but if he was focused id give him a chance against all the other title holders, the skelton fight wont be easy for him tho. Anyone think Skelton would have a chance against the title holders?
wel judgin by the last fight wit Danny he deffo has the ability to provide a good battle n i think e wud stand a chance against a few heavys. Rahman, Tony are a bit out of his league tho.
Danny is a fruit loop.
he just switches off and i dont think he has the heart to be world champ
Matt has the heart and determination btu doesnt have the skills
I think ever since he KOd Tyson he has tried to hard to look for the KO in his fights. His weight has gone up as well.
I think if he gets his weight down and trys to box more he has a chance in this awfull HW division there is at the moment.
Balls
no i think danny has plenty of heart, without it he wouldn't have been able to win againest potter with a dislocated shoulder, beat tyson after nearly having his head taken off in the first round, and also think back to the vitali fight, he took a huge amount of punishment but still stood there.
time is catching him, and he must get his weight down to 18 stone, it'll be atough fight with skelton, that'll be a close one
Danny Williams may be many things but you cannot possibly say he does not have heart,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unLHS...nny%20williams
Watch the highlights of his fight with Vitali, knocked down in round 1 and watch the close up in round 3. He knew he was way out of his depth and knew he was going to lose. If he had no heart he would have left his big arse on the ground, but he didn't he got up and actually made a fight out of it.
After watching the first 3 rounds nobody would have predicted him to survive til the eighth. AND even then he wasn't counted out he got back to his feet and would have carried on. You can knock his boxing skills but not his heart, he is a warrior.
If only he showed this heart in the easy fights ie Serin and Harrison and didn't just show his heart in the tough fights ie Tyson, Skelton and Klitschko
I think he lost the 1st Skelton fight and I think he will lose the 2nd Skelton fight
For 10 years I been listening to people say Williams has potential, but when have we ever seen it? I can't remember ever been impressed with him!
And if we look at his best perfornace against Tyson, he did have to hit Tyson on the button 20 times to knock him out and the fact that Kevin Mc bride beat him soon after, kind of tells of everything!

Matt Skelton will be a better title challenger than Danny Williams. If Danny fights for a title it will be a tame points defeat against Valuev or Liakovich, or a ruthless knockout at the hands of Wladmir.
If Matt gets a chance he will at least throw everyhting into it. I think he can topple Valuev, and his workrate would make things difficult for Rahman. Liakovich isn't a big heavyweight and Skelton could rough him up a bit although I think he would be outpointed.
A fight with Wladimir would be exciting to watch. You would have to fancy Wladimir to take Skelton apart but you never know, he might just wilt under Skeltons pressure.
Williams wouldn't beat any top heavyweight out there, he's already shown he isn't world class, and is now past his "best"
He scraped a SD against Audley in a borefest (Guinn then comprehensively beats Audley) and a SD against Skelton in a fouling mess of a fight - Skelton wouldn't beat anyone in world class either, he admits himself how limited his boxing ability is
The only reason they are shouting world title challenge around him is they can make the fight with Valuev and believe he's a soft touch....
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Im 100% certain he is not European Class never mind World Class, he has beaton Audrey and Skelton( who basically has fought bouncers and butchers so far in his career) and now he is world class, the guy is pretty average and would look so far out of place against any World class fighter never mind title holder, in the rematch i think Williams will again win a narrow split decision.
