Default 5 Reasons Paul Williams can beat Floyd

    Here are the reasons:
    1. He is a big strong southpaw with good speed
    2. He has legs. He can throw and move not staying in front of PBF
    3. He is tall and long. If he keeps Floyd at bay at the end of his punches Floyd cant touch him
    4. He can take a punch and Floyd isnt much of a puncher at Welter so I doubt a Floyd KO
5 . Williams can have the same sucess that Zab had in the first four rounds for the entire fight because he maintains focus and output unlike Zab.

There are two ways to beat speed. One is from a distance and the other is in very close. Williams can win from the outside. Only thing he needs to work on is backing staight up and mark my words: Williams will beat Floyd if they ever fight.

I said that Williams-Margarito would be a good fight but Williams got no shot at PBF. Williams wouldn't be able to land nothing on PBF, he's to slow for PBF's reflexes and defense.

Williams can beat Margarito, but he was no chance against Mayweather

I think Margarito would give him much more troulble than Floyd.

    Oh!! god NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

A yougn kid makes a pretty solid performance (eventho he got caught a few times) and now all of a sudden hes the man at 147....I'll say it again he just fought top 20 opposition and had trouble with him. I got some good match ups for him to see what he got's....

these are top 8 thru 23 in my book

    Kermit Cintron
    Vivian Harris
    Delvin Rodriguez
    Eleazar Contreras
    Oktay Urkal
and the winner of Julio vs Quintana.....

If he beats anyone of those guys then he can move on to the top 5.

I think Williams jab would really give Margarito and his looping punches alot of trouble.

I was really just trying to get a rise out of Y'all....Really though i think that Margarito would give him more trouble. in the future once he makes a bigger name for himself a PBF showdown could be interesting mainly because he is a big true Welterweight. A Hatton fight would be interesting too. He does have to make improvements on his defence at this point though, and imo hes not a match for Margarito.

5 reasons he can't beat Floyd.

    1. Floyd is in great condition and won't fade like Matysse.
    2. Floyd has better movement and will be turning Williams, not williams turning Floyd.
    3. Floyd's hand speed is superior to Matysse, and will counter all night, just like Matysse did.
    4. Using a jab can negate speed, but Floyd has great D, and Williams won't land that jab as often. Without his jab, williams is done. Plus, while Williams is trying to land his jab, Floyd will be landing the jab to the belly like he always does.
    5. Floyd is alot smarter, and adjusts as good as any fighter. Williams is too green for Floyd.

I was slightly impressed with Williams, but thought he was exposed. He needs some more fights before he tries for Floyd. I'd like to see him and Joel Julio fight.

Distance works against fast guys like Leonard, not MAyweather.
