    Default Tua returns?

Anyone excited about this? Sure he's getting old and hasn't fought in awhile but a quick replay of the Ruiz knockout made me think that I might actually be interested in seeing him thrown back into the fray.

Tua's only 33 and hasn't taken a beating since the LL fight so he has had plenty of time to recovery...If he comes in shape and working with a good trainer he could still make some real noise in a divison lacking top notch talent....

He needs to shave off some excess blubber. Tuaman isn't as trim as he once was.

Absolutely, If he comes to the ring focused and in shape he could really cause some serious waves in the HW division.....
It feels good to be back home.

I remember thinking that he would run the heavyweight division going into the Lennox Lewis fight, his style reminded me so much of a young Mike Tyson. I was wrong.

I don't think that he had quite as many tools as Mike did.

He also weighed too much going into the Lewis fight. Tua was most effective when he was around 220

Tua was pretty remarkable when under the Duva's...even though he lost to Ibeabuchi he pressed the action the whole fight and in the last two rounds he put a nice spanking on Ike...If you think about it, David fought just about anyone that would get into the ring with him; Ibeabuchi, Ruiz, Rahman, Byrd, Maskaev, Izon and except for Moorer they were all in their prime at the time "The Terminator" fought them...pretty impressive....I just hope he has enough left in the tank and willpower to straighten the current mess out.

I was thinking that same thing. Tua vs. Peter would be a hell of a fight. It's actually a feasible fight if Tua can put on a couple good performances against people who aren't total bums.

I believe you guys are right, there is only one thing standing in the way of Tua and a dynamic comeback... himself.
    It's a desire/motivation problem.
If he's got them, no problem.
We sure do need someone to spice up the action but he needs to be fit and ready to fight regularly.

The Tua that sparked Ruiz is long gone

Back then he was like a young Tyson . Now he is like a modern Tyson

Oldschool Tua(vs. Ruiz IBeabuchi) would beat up Peter IMO.
