    Default resistance bands

how good are they, i was thinking of buying them for shadow boxing, are they worth it? are they better than doing shadow boxing with hand weights? plus where can i find cheap ones?

Much much better than doing shadowboxing with hand weights. As i have said before due to gravity the weight in the hand wants to go down so it wont help you with power and may even hinder your form.

A good solid resistsnce band anchored to a lowish to mid point means you use your whole body to punch through. They will increase handspeed and help with power due to the fact you are pushing out against reistance rather than your muscles fighting to keep your arm horizontal (like they are with handweights).

Shadowboxing with handweights IMO is useless and can sometimes cause shoulder probs.

They look ok although try and find a set that has extra strong or extra heavy resistance. I got mine from osteopath first (they are also on ebay) but you will need etra strong. Those ones looke like they only come in 3 strengths and heavy may be enough. Its hard to answer your question but get one in heavy...if its ok order another.
