Sounds like some good fights could come out of this. Boom Boom vs. Jhonny Gonzales, Ponce De Leon or Marquez would all be great. I think he would give a great account against all three, beating Ponce De Leon, maybe Gonzales but probs not Marquez IMO.

I believe the kid has a bright future, i heard he's with the Golden Boy outfit, but he isn't ready yet, 2 more years coyuld be.

I really think Boom Boom is the real deal. He should really take a couple of fights before Ponce De Leon or the likes of Gonzalez (when he in turn moves up) but I think hes gonna surprise a lot of people.

Ponce De Leon is solid, but not without flaws. Im not saying Boom Boom is flawless by any means but if he boxes De Leon, he could have a great chance of pulling an upset.

Great move on the part of boom boom to go up in weight when he felt that he can no longer make it in the bantam division, I remember Pac's second loss was due to the fact that his body is has outgrown the fly division... the result he fought dehydrated from trying to make the make....
