    Default lightweight division

to tell you the truth i'm more excited about the lightweight and junior lightweight division, if you look close the BEST fights are mainly in those two divisions. here are some match ups i'd love to see

Diego Corrales Vs. Joel Casamayor III (yea i know we're gonna see it)
Diego Corrales Vs. Acelino Freitas II
Acelino Freitas Vs. Joel Casamayor II
Acelino Freitas Vs. Juan Diaz (WOULD BE FRIGGIN AWESOME)
    Juan Diaz Vs. Julio Diaz
    Zahir Raheem Vs. Jesus Chavez
    Zahir Raheem Vs. Diego Corrales

even if it's mix and match they're great match ups

    at 130,

    two are already certain

Erik Morales Vs. Manny Pacquiao III
Marco Antonio Barrera Vs. Rocky Juarez II
    Rocky Juarez Vs. Erik Morales
    Manny Pacquiao Vs. M.A. Barrera
forget the list just throw in Marquez and Barrios and it's crazy

are any of you as excited of the possabilties as i am?

Oscar's not gonna go down to fight PBF, he's not giving up his title, if that fight happens it'll be at 154

There is a good chance the fight could happen at 154 because that would give Oscar the best chance to win, but he cares nothing about the title, he is only going to fight one more time

definately brother, thats the reason floyd was going to fight spinks, to grab a title at light middle and have a title to offer up when he fights oscar in my opinion, and floyd has said he wanted to be 5 wieght world champ before hes 30, he wont do that cos he fightin baldomir but he is definately intending to move to light middle.

either way i think the more explosive action packed and meaningful fights that can better boxing's image are at 135-130

i dunno man the fighters and fights are good down there, but theres few of them compared to the number of great fighters at welter and the middle wieghts,

only difference bieng noone is talkin shiz down there and all the best at feather and lightwieght are fighting eachother and at welter its all about money and supposed sucking of people with too many politics,

Yeah I would have to agree that 130-135 has the better competition. We compare WW with it's big names but the big stars aside from PBF (Hatton, Tony, etc..) doesnt have that much of a resume, YET. So until they mix it up I still say 130-135 has the meanest competition.

130 has a slew of promising match ups to come. Don't forget Barrios-Guzman on the undercard of Barrera-Juarez 2. The winner of that fight will put themselves in position to headline an HBO card and I think either of them could prove to be better than anyone else at the division.

And the spector of Edwin Valero is hovering over them all.

Corrales would crush Raheem....I don't see Raheem being able to get into it down and dirty when Corrales decides to make him fight.....Freitas is another fighter in question IMO he was always overrated I dont know if he is BIG TIME caliber anymore
