Default Brian Minto wants a big fight!

    ...or so fightnews says

Minto looked into fighting Krasniqi and Holyfield but no dice

My questions to you brilliant people out there are as follows:

    1) How do you rate this guy?

    2) Who would you like to see him fight?

    3) Who's the best guy Minto would have a shot at beating?

    MY ANSWERS
    1) I don't think he's very good at all...not title material, perhaps a good journeyman

    2) I GUESS he would be a good match for Audley Harrison or Dommonick Guinn

    3) Minto MAY be able to outwork McCline or catch Fres Oquendo pretty good and beat him by KO, and perhaps beat Joe Mesi could have trouble since he's taking the LOOOOONG road back to where he was

I agree that hes not too good but he definately has a chance vs champs like maskaev . A fight with brock would be interesting becuz of their exact same styles

I don't dislike him, he's basically this era's Chuck Wepner...he can apparently take a decent shot and he has heart, his size and skill level hold him back though.

Minto-Guinn or Harrison would be AWESOME for ESPN.

With guys like Minto ESPN needs to sign these guys and have BIGGER events than they have had....lots of great fighters started out on ESPN, USA, Fox, and so on...it would be nice if they let the general public get a taste of some decent fighting

Well if he loses his next fight, maybe he can get a shot at the WBA champ

That's what I was thinking but he would still hit too hard for NICOLE Valuev!

Joe Mesi might get a shot at him if his power is still absent from his tune ups

Who cares that Minto wants a title shot? He is FAR away from deserving one. I'd like a title shot too, as im sure all of you would just for the paycheck!

Minto is like a white James Toney except unlike Toney he has no skill. He's just a fat, weight lifter who throws power shots that don't even seem to pack much power.

I've seen him on FNF a few times, he's actually from western PA which is where I reside but this guy is trash.

Played linebacker in college, apparently f*cked up and drank too much while chasing the pootang, didnt get good grades and got no job. 5 or 6 years later after he just sits around eating and lifting weight says, "Hey, I am big maybe I will be a boxer" a few years after that he wants a title shot.

Hate when people want to go big time in the sport when they aint deserve sh*T!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the rant but that's my biggest pet peeve.

He's also in the same camp as "The Boxing Banker" who I dont think much of either. What a nickname. The Boxing Banker.. you can tell he's dangerous just from that. Wlad will handle him with ease imo.

**OOPS just notcied the title was "Minto want a big fight". For some reason I read, "Minto wants a title shot" LOL. Ok, so he wants a big fight..why is this news? I think all prospects want big fights.

    1) How do you rate this guy?

He's a knockout waiting to happen & he's meagerly skilled. He'll get eaten alive once he steps up.

    2) Who would you like to see him fight?

    Brock...after Klitscko destroys him.

    3) Who's the best guy Minto would have a shot at beating?

Anyone at the bottom of the ladder.

    Lyle...good discussion.

Agreed Wacko.......More or less my thoughts on the matter to a T.......I watched this dude fight a couple of months ago on Friday night fights and I really wish that I had done something more productive with my time like watching paint dry.
Granted I didn't see him fight last time, but from what I did see I doubt that he will go far unless he picks up the pace in the skill department. He just looked too too sloppy.
