    Default Demetrius Hopkins

Is he ready for the elite yet. 24-0-1. Good skills, speed, sneaky power.

Is he still a prospect, or is it time to step up?

I've heard some things about him vs. Steve Forbes but don't know if that's going through

Who should he fight, is he ready for the best of 140?

It think he is a very good fighter , I am not a huge fan of his fighting style, but he is a well rounded talented fighter and should be listed amongst the top in the division in my opinion

Totally disagree with that statement. It carries little to no weight at all.

Hopkins D, has already carved his place out in his division. Whether he is ready for the elite had hitters is still debatable. I'd love to see him match against Lazcano or Rodriguez.

Demetrius has a great defense & as of late...he can brawl & punch...just like Big Hop in his early career.

He just needs to be moved along at a gentle pace.

Great fighter with lots of promise.

wonder how he would get on against somone like witter or mbaye with a few more W's on his record this would be a good one to see. but if hatton stays at 140 he would have a major problem dominating 140!

Which is exactly why I say he needs to be fed a little bit more of a steady diet before eating the big meal.

I think that he'd beat Witter & Mbaye in all truthitude.

Many people have seen very little of Hopkins to know what type of call to make...they just slander the kid as Bernard's shadow.

Seeing him fight...clearly that is not the case.

    The kid has the goods.

Hopkins is good, had a little of a hard time in his last fight but he still won it.

It's Willie Gibbs that showed so much promise and from what I hear he barely won his last fight(not good)

But, Demetrius is a very good prospect, he's not ready for the best in the division yet, but he's top 20 no doubt.

I would have rather seen Hopkins-Urango than Hatton-Urango

Maybe Juan Lazcano, that would be a step up.

I doubt his promotional team would be interested in that, its a winnable fight, but its very hard to look good against Rabah. Really would be hard for either one of them to look good cause of each others styles.

I believe Rabah is fighting Lovemore N'dou, which would have been an okay choice for Demetrius.

    Demetrius can fight the winner?
