Look, fair play to the lad, have a look at where he's fought. Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy. He's probably getting paid in holidays - full board, but because of all the food he eats he goes up from his natural fighting weigh of super feather to super middleweight. He's a classy operator, and I think we should start a campaign to have a big interview with him on the news section of the site!

Back in the 60's and 70's there was this guy named Joe Maye who had one of the most awful records in boxing....I think he retired at lik 1-44 or something like that.....I actually met the guy one time in Albany NY..To my suprise he wasn't punchy or anything...You could hardly tell he was ever a fighter let alone one who was beat so much.....He was what in the day was known as a professional opponent...There are a lot of guys out there who still make a good living doing that.....Truth is they are better than their record shows...They could actually make a decent record for them selves but knowing they will never make big money prefer to just make steady money making up and comers look good...Go figure...

I remember seeing this guy in the newspapers recently. He's a former Welsh champion, with a record of 9-91-7, and a grand total of 5 KOs. What made me laugh was the reason that he was in court for claiming disability benefit, throughout much of his boxing career! Poor fella, but at least he can call himself a former champion, even if it is only a poxy little Welsh area title.
