    1.Wlad
    2.Sam Peter
    3.James Toney
    4.Calvin Brock.

The rest are all pretty much stains on the sport and can collectively be ranked as fertiliser

Actually forgot about Holyfield, I'd put him at number 5,

You disagree but can you name a single fighter outside the 4 I've mentioned who could beat Peter?

    I rest my case....

OK bilbo, I'll play your little game

Keep in mind you said COULD...so here's the

    In no particular order
Ray Austin - tall guy, fights tall could give the shorter Sam Peter trouble
Larry Donald - tall guy, moves GREAT, very hard to stop...would really give Sam problems
Lamon Brewster - tough guy, if he chooses to brawl with Sam he could hang
Sergei Lyakhovich - big tall guy, good boxer, takes a good punch
John Ruiz - VERY tough to beat, he can take a good punch, smothering, frustrating to fight
Ruslan Chagaev - able to trade, decent power, southpaw
Shannon Briggs - HUGE big puncher, quick hands
Alexander Dimitrenko - Tall, fights tall, quick hands, not a ton of power, moves ok, he's developing
Chris Byrd - quick hands, southpaw, moves well, good stamina, can take a good punch
Jameel McCline - tall, decent defense, when motivated he fights well, can take a good punch
Hasim Rahman - tough, good power in the right hand, likes to trade too much but he has good power.
Danny Williams - big guy, can be tough to fight at times, can take LOADS of punishment

Now in reality maybe 4 (Larry Donald, Sergei Lyakhovich, Chris Byrd, and Shannon Briggs) of those 13 guys could really give Sam a run for his money, however, Sam Peter just hasn't improved since he came on the scene....he still has horrid defense, he still throws one punch at a time, he still throws way too wide, and he still rabbit punches....all that is why he couldn't beat James Toney

    oh yeah....you forgot this part

    AND LOST!

You people on the Sam Peter bandwagon are the SAME GUYS saying "Vitali's biggest win was a loss"....well so was Sam Peter's! And at least Vitali went right back at it after that big loss.....Mr. Peter went out just to get a KO....let's examine that a bit, he's not going out to PROVE himself, not going out to EARN a KO, not to WORK for a KO.....just to throw 3-4 punches and get a check.

Sam Peter had raw talent a couple years ago.....it's still raw today and if it doesn't get fixed it's gonna go bad.

I don't agree that we can call Wlad the real champion at this time but I pretty much agree with you down to number 8. Numbers 9 and 10 are hazy names to me but at least they are new names in the top ten and we don't have to see John Ruiz in there any more.

Well he beat the longest reigning champ by TKO when he won his title he had his first defense vs an undefeated fighter and won by TKO....I don't see any other title holders doing that

    Wlad
    Sam Peter
    Calvin Brock
    James Toney
    Lamon Brewster
    Sergue Lyckahovich
and then just lump everybody else behind them. I really want to rate Toney higher but I dont think he has the stamina to fight a full fight like he needs to in order to win the close fights.

I pretty much agree with you only I would put Toney at number 2 anyways.. Sure maybe he doesn't have the stamina to go a hard 12... But what guy on that list doesn't have some glaring flaw to their game. Hell which don't also have questionable stamina?.. Wlad is the best HW right now but he still may not have a good chin and perhaps isn't consistent... Peter can't box, Brock is limited skill wise, Sergei... after his last fight I wouldn't even rank him whatsoever Id be surprised if he's ever heard of again. Brewster as well is a completely limited brawler who currently has a detached retina.. I don't have any problem putting Toney at no.2 I think he's the only logical pick since he clearly defeated Sam Peter in their fight and is the only HW besides Wlad with a real skillset.. Which is actually much better then Wlads.
