    Default Henry Armstrong

In 1938 Henry Armstrong was the undisputed Featherweight, undisputed Lightweight, and undisputed Welterweight champion all at the same time.

Since each weight division now has two counter parts and 4 different recognized titles—Armstrong’s accomplishment is equal to a current fighter holding 24 belts in 6 divisions all at the same time.

An impressive feat for a largly forgotten fighter

Oh yeah Homicide Hank was a great fighter, one of the best P4P ever! His engine never stopped running, he just kept throwing punches for 3 minutes straight

Largely forgotten? - all true boxing fans know of Homocide Hank. Anyone who has heard of that achievement never forgets him - so it's probably that he is not well publicised now (rather than forgotten).

Any Johnny-come-lately to boxing who has not heard of him just doesn't know enough about the sport!!

Armstrong was one of the greatest fighers to ever step into a ring in the history of the sport...... at any weight.

Sorry, I should have clarified, I was talking more about the mainstream: compared to old fighters who still get occasionally mentioned :Louis, Robinson and LaMatta

I think he is overrated personally... the fights I've seen of his weren't largely impressive.
