I would say one of the best guys to meet, is Richie Woodhall. Former wbc super middleweight champ, Richie is very knowledgeable about amateurs boxing and pro boxing. He is not full of him self very down to earth, and if you ever get the opportunity to talk to him. One of the soundest people you will meet. Who have you met and come across and what did you think of them ?

met danny williams at a shoping centre, me and a friend were talking about boxing when i spotted big dan, i pointed him out to my mate and danny heard us, he looked over nodded his head and walked over to us shaked our hands and we had a chat about boxing, he had his little baby in his hands i must say he was very pleasent friendly and in no way stuck up, a true nice guy.................his hands were massive and build like bricks, i've seen many boxers hands but dannys were like rocks

The greatest fighter I have ever met was Archie Moorer. I was only a kid and I was told by numerous people that he was a little crazy and that he could just snap at anytime. I was very afraid but he was very nice. He lived just a couple of miles away and we would always drive past his house and awww at his boxing glove shape swimming pool which was visible from the highway.

Jorge 'El Maromero' Paez @ Hometown Buffet (restaurant) funny as shet!! from that crazy bastard we talked about the food there and about Mexicali where hes from and where I partially grew up (And where my mom is from).

Francisco 'Panchito' Bojado @ Toys 'R Us (toy store) talked a little about his previous fight at that time Lemuel Nelson and his plan to re-match Rubio.

Raul 'El Diamante' Marquez @ Pechanga Resort & Casino the restroom has 2 doors to walk in and out I walked out of one, he walked out the other I was gonna shake his hand and then realised we had just walked out of the restroom. talked about how he landed the commentator gig with NBC.

Armando 'El Hombre' Muniz in the apt. where I used to live, his brother (Armandos) was my neighbor there, good laughs and met him several times at BBQ's very good ring stories...

I knew Ritchie vaguely (on nodding terms) when i used to box out of Shrewsbury and Severnside.

I have also met Nigel Benn a couple of time, lovely friendly guy but you know that you would not mess with him on the street, even if he never been a boxer.
