"Old" fight, but truly an amazing slugfest. And how often do you see a double knee drop?

Boxing is like a handjob, and MMA is like a hot sweaty orgy with 5 chicks. I could never say no to a handjob, but which would you rather have?
that was frustrating to watch. I wish the boxer threw some combos, jabs obviously had no effect on hunt
why do I always root for the underdog :P
Hunt was just too strong. His strength is almost even too great for Fedor.
Hunt has the most insane jaw I've EVER seen. Nothing hurts the guy. He's been kicked in the head by the most lethal weapon in martial arts (Mirko's Left High Kick) and stood right up. He actually even took one square in the side of the head (in a Pride match) and wasn't even fazed. Nothing Nishijima could throw would hurt Hunt. Nishijima's only chance was to win via decision, but he came on too late in the fight for that (and even then, he got KTFOd).

And if it makes you feel better voodoo, Nishijima was actually expected to go down VERY early in the first round. The fact that he survived to the third round is a testament to his abilities. This fight made him a star, despite his follow up losses (i believe three now, all via submission).
So he did in fact perform EXTREMELY well and put on an amazing showing against arguably THE toughest striker in MMA (with Mirko being the most skilled...but Hunt's tested and proven chin definately makes him the toughest, in my opinion). Overall, a very good showing for boxing as a striking art in MMA, even despite Nishi's shortcomings.
