Certainly not before he has the 49-0 record well under his belt.

Undefeated WBA Heavyweight Champion Nikolai Valuev is determined to break Rocky Marciano’s ancient record of 49 straight wins. He gave his thoughts when asked about the possibility of going after the record at a news conference today promoting his fight with Jameel McCline this weekend…

“I definitely want to break his record,” the undefeated WBA champion vowed at today´s press conference in Basle. “If there´s the chance to get your name in the history books with such a great record, it is of course my aim to accomplish it. But that does not mean I will fight weak opponents.”
