Highly regarded junior welterweight Edgar Santana (21-2, 13 KOs) took a close and hard-fought eight round split decision over Dairo Jose Esalas (29-7, 24 KOs). Santana won on two cards 77-75, 77-75. Esalas prevailed on the third 77-75. There were no knockdowns.

Unbeaten heavyweight Roman Greenberg (25-0, 17 KOs) scored a workmanlike ten round unanimous decision over Michael Simms (19-7-1, 13 KOs). Scores were 99-91 across the board.
