    Default Matthew Saad Muhammad

I was just watchin his fight last night with Jerry Martin, at about 1:00 AM in the mornin, couldn't sleep. Man could Muhammad throw a great left hook, and awesome overhand right too. The guy was an excellent boxer-puncher, his defense was lacking, but it made him all the more exciting. Weird stoppage in that fight too, Martin had been staggered a lot though. I seen Saad Muhammad's war with Dwight Braxton too, also a great fight. Anyone remember Saad Muhammad, I'm sure ya do. He ever face Michael Spinks?

He was good up until he faced Dwight Qawi, then he seemed to go to crap. Losing about half of his fights from then on. He had some great wars tho, Yaqui Lopez fight was good one, Lopez was winning the fight going into the 13th, he threw so many punches in the 13th that landed, he punched himself out, and MSM came back in the 14th and got the stoppage.

CC. Qawi was a bad man. Saad Muhammad's punches didn't even seem to phase him.

CC back I always liked Qawi, he was like a slightly smaller version of Joe Frazier.I wanted him to win that first fight with Holyfield, but he gased out and Holyfield got a second wind....

Yeah, he did fight something like Fraizer, lots of head movement. One of my friends says that Qawi fought exactly as a short fighter should fight. That was a crazy last round in that first fight when Qawi was faking like he was hurt and staggered, then trying to explode on Holyfield and KO him.
