Well i never have but i have watched boxing and in many cases it does unless your well experienced pro then it doesn't

Guess it depends on the individual. Some people would be more motivated by having the crowd against them, others would go into a shell.

It can be a bit intimidating...as a kid I went to Ireland to fight as an amatuer in a USA VS Irelan amatuer show....Leave me tell you when you have 2,000 people booing and yelling at you with a foreign accent knowing you are ten thousand miles away can take it's toll...By the second day they warmed up to us though and just started cheering for everyone

back at the days I was fighting (for nothing but pride) it was a real boost for me !! I had nothing to lose situation...losing ? okay they are all expecting me to lose, no pressure....

but fighting at home, it was something else....
