Default A SILENT PRAYER FOR THIS SATURDAY

Can we all take a minute to bow our heads and say a silent prayer as we all sit at our desks hoping that the big fight on May the 5th isn't an instant let down, an instantly forgetable incounter.

    Lets all take a minute...

I'll get on my knees for that.

Boxing needs this fight. A NC because of a clash of heads in round 2 would be disheartening.

This fight will come up John Holmes big.... I have all the confidence in the world.

See the problem is Entertainment value is subjective.... I personally enjoyed the masterclass and whitewashing Floyd dished out to Baldomir. Others thought it stunk to high heaven

Would a Floyd Tko be nice for me? YES, but at the same time if he outboxes and outclasses Delahoya I will be pleased as well

Our Hoya who art in Vegas,
    Oscar be thy name,
    Thy left hook come,
    Thy will be done,
On earth (and if possible, after round 7)
Give us this day an awesome fight
    And give us some press-passes
So we can sit ringside with celebrities against us
And lead us not to a hype job
    But deliver us some action
For thine is the promotion, the money and the glory
    For ever and ever

    Ahem….

#32 back at you. Since when is beating your opponent up and showcasing your superior skills and defensive wizardry a bad thing not to mention Baldo only landed 13% of his punches sice Floyd was slippin and weaving

    cheers for the CC's

I pray for a good fight that doesn't end up with one chasing the other round the ring trying to land shots. My head says Floyd but I'm a sucker for the underdog.

HBO are doing a good job with the hype though, 24/7 has suckered me in and made me dislike the bad guy and root for Oscar instead.

I'll probably change my mind again with the final episode

I'd CC back but isn't there some kind of post threshold I have to reach first?

I did the Bill Cosby picture whilst bored in work, anyone know why I can't see other peoples avatars? Do I need to change my settings?

    Thanks!
