I hope they do not rematch this one. Also Floyd showed some experience himself. He was not bullied or overmatched by Oscar's experience. The 10 years he has been defending his titles and winning them showed in this fight. He handle the pressure well and won the fight. That is all you ask of a guy, and he won the fight against a bigger stronger guy. he did it all tonight.. In a rematch I think Floyd would do even better and stop Oscar.

CC Smashup, agree with you. (Don't want a date though... )
I disagree with this notion that a fighter has to be in a close 'fight/brawl' to become a great, that is bull. That is like saying that Michael Johnson is not the best 200m/400m sprinter ever, because he did not slow down and force himself to dig deep often enough in order to win. Totally stupid logic!
Floyd fights to the best of his ability in every fight and it is not his fault if his opponents can't handle it. He is the best boxer in the world right now because he trains meticulously, has the athletic gifts and boxing brain to overcome intense challenges and because he is just that damn talented. There is no other way to see it. You can question his record all you want, but at the end of the day he is 38-0 and a five weight world champion at the age of 30 who just took down a living legend less than 24 hours ago. His record is as good, if not now better than any of the other pound for pound contenders out there.
Give the man his props!
He is already a great. If he comes back, anyone he defeats from now on will just further cement his legacy. This is all coming from a former neutral by the way, but I'm sold on him now for sure.
got to give credit were its due moving up in weight and putting on a preformance like that was AMAZING... he looked classy last night and deserves his P4P spot...
hes still a twat though just a very skilled twat
CC#597 smash good for someone to stand up and admit it i to think the guy is awesomeOriginally Posted by Smashup
For the good of the fight game he simply cannot retire either...the TWAT
SO, SO slick on the back foot
5 weight divisions.....6 titles....PBF is the greatest in this generation..so YES, he will go down as one of the greatest ever.....Mosley would add to this if not solidify him as the greatest EVER!!!!..Originally Posted by belak

He could fight and beat Mosely and Hatton and retire 40-0 i suppose
That would work....or clean out everyone: Cotto, Margarito, Hatton, Mosley, Clotty and anybody else you would like to add to the list....and retire 45-0....Originally Posted by tysonbruno

Its frustrating for us the fans because its a perfect time for Floyd to retire at the top of his game but us the fight fans are left wanting more
