Is £80 expensive for a 300 GIG external hard drive?

Think that's a fairly good price.
But you can find them cheaper I'm sure.
I got a 320GB ext hdd a little while ago for about $120-130 Canadian.
Works out to about 55 British monies (?).
And I just picked it up at the first big retail Best Buy I walked into. So I'm sure there are even cheaper ones out there.

Gamo can you convert the quid to dlls.

I payed 200 dlls. for a 500 gig external HD. Pretty damn! good deal if you ask me. Original plrice was like 300 dlls.

But I was looking around the big retailers around here and seems they all carry fairly cheap ext hdds these days.
The major ones around here are all carrying 320GB ones for around $130Canadian. Around 55(british money symbol thing)
Not sure if they're just cheaper on this continent or what though.
