    Default Henry Armstrong Feature

Just finished my feature story on Henry Armstrong.
It's up on YouTube if you want to take a look.

    Ron,
    You came back

Good to see you did make the video.....

It started off a bit weird for me but I saw where you were headed with that, well done really enjoyed it.....

Got a few questions if you don't mind me asking.

    1. Where did you find all those pictures of Hank?
    2. Is that your voice narrarating?

Thanks for coming back and sharing this with us.

Oh! yeah! heres #1 on me.

The photos are at the Henry Armstrong Foundation website. http://www.henryarmstrongfoundation.org/home.html

I contacted Henry's grandson and he was a great help.

And yes, that's my voice. Shot the video for the story. I also wrote it and edited it. Got a lot of good comments from sports fans around town about it. Nobody here in Columbus knew Henry's history. Nobody knew there was a connection. I went to the old Armstrong plantation, but there wasn't much to shoot there. And since his family left when he was four years old, I didn't want to waste any story time. Seconds count.

The reason I started the story in the gym was to anchor it in the present and to establish the theme, that today's boxers don't know much if anything about Armstrong, even in his hometown. Sad that this great boxer is overlooked.

Thanks to everybody for the nice comments.
