Both
You want to be able to throw all shots from all positions
Id start from my base and work from there
But you reallly want it to be able to explode from wherever your feet are,and however your feet are placed
Ok will do thanks Monkey - I guess women have larger hips and more weight around the hip area so it's really important to get them moving - is that what you're sort of saying?

Your hips are sort of rocked back more,I can kinda train Feur like a guy, because she frankly doesnt have what is known as "child bearing" hipsOriginally Posted by Sharla
None of this is meant to be insulting, just acknowledging we're built different
And that makes your center of gravity slightly different
But as I only have one female fighter,Id like to constantly refine,so I do it better all the time,so Id like to see what our advice does,or doesnt do,so I can go back to the drawing board, and break it down some more, and get better as a trainer
All good thanks Monkey,
I like your philiosophy - I do have child bearing size hips (although I haven't actually tested them by having any babies) - so I'll see what i notice and get back to you

The hips are the biggest issue with female fighters,in all honesty we're training ya'all like your a varient of male fightersOriginally Posted by Sharla
It shows
All fighters should be trained to the best of their ability
Most trainers are swinging at shadows with females
I got lucky with Feur
But I want the next girl to come along to have her best shot,so I can allways learn
Yeah, I did find kickboxing came much more naturally and easily to me than boxing perhaps due to physical differences.
I think it's good you're thinking in terms of the best way for each individual to fight.

Actually that does make sense in theory if you think about it.Originally Posted by Sharla
