at this point have to go with tszyu, was a better boxer and has a better chin. plus cotto is not a one punch knockout guy, tszyu is

Im going with Kostya Cottos defense is quite flawed and with Kostyas excellent timing and great power he would ko Cotto in 7 or 8.

Exactly what has Cotto done in his career so far to make someone pick him over Tszyu?

That wasn't a prime Tszyu, that was an old inactive Tszyu. There's a significant difference.

You mean a 35 year old Kostya who hadn't fought in 7 months before meeting Hatton was inferior to the 35 year old Kostya who hadn't fought in 22 months before destoying Sharmba Mitchell Sorry bro, but that excuse doesn't fly around here anymore.

I pick Cotto at 147 and Tszyu at 140....Cotto killed himself making weight at 140 and had to take rounds off to stay in the fight for the distance, KT had great power and great stamina but Miguel is WAAAAAY too big and active for him at 147

Tszyu-Gatti would be good to think about as well

    Kostya would slaughter Gatti.

    For sure Cotto @ 147
Toss up @ 140 maybe with the edge to Tszyu because of Cotto's weight problem

Fun no doubt but Gatti never beat an elite fighter and Kostya was elite and was better fighter mostly all round than Gatti could box but we all know timing beats speed aka Judah vs Kostya.

Neither one of those versions of Tszyu was a prime Tszyu. I don't see how what you just typed disproves anything I said before.
