    Default PBF's future plans

I just read an article about Mayweather in the Boston Globe. The article was published just before the DelaHoya fight. It basically was about how Floyd carries thousands of dollars around with him and bets heavily on sporting events. He suppopsedly bet $150,000 to $200,000 on either a football or baseball game. The way I see it, he goes the way of Louis, Robinson, Tyson, et al., meaning he will have to come back because he's blowing all his money. Any and all opinions are welcome and will not be criticized, well, not too much.

personally i think he flosses a bit, but part of me believes alot of it is just for means of publicity etc.

seeing the way pbf carried himself on the tonight show also shows me another more mature, business minded and even intelligent side of PBF that we hardly see.

so i think hes alot smarter than we get to see, either that or he should be getting a real smart jewish financial advisor/ business manager to handle his finances especially if hes seriously gonna retire, but i honestly dont think he'll retire. i see ODLH part II as well as a big mother ricky hatton bout in the future as well!

all the retirement talk seems like a ploy i see atleast 3 big fights that he takes in the course of the next 2 years or so.

I'd say there's about a 70% chance that Floyd fights again before the end of '07, and about a 99.9% chance that he fights within the next 12 months.

It's a dishonest attempt at pumping up ticket prices, pumping up ratings it's BS it's making fans hate the sport.

By saying "This gon be my last fight," he must think that people are going to panic, and do and pay anything to see Floyd's "last" fight. And every time he fights from now on, he's gonna say it again as if he's on borrowed time.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

Floyd is hardly the first fighter to say he's retiring when everyone knows he won't.

Ali, Leonard, and Holmes are just a few of the names of people who have done the exact same thing. I could come up with many more if I took the time.
