Default Just Finished Watching Holyfield Vs Moorer again

Damn I forgot about the beating Moorer sustained... Holy was just a different Breed, the 1st KD was priceless just as the announcers were saying this could be the fight Holy finally gets old and Moorer was Holyfields silver bullet then Moorer just stunned Holy with a right and drove him into the ropes and then landed a few punches, and then right on que after the announcers were talking ish, Holy waffles him with a right hand and almost took his head off..

Thats what made Holyfield great was the war of attricion, he would take fighters places mentally and physically they didnt want to go, then he would drown them

Cause butting never happens when a southpaw and unorthodox fighter square off.... Kinda like the time King Kong Bundy Broke Your Sternum

all the tyson advocates cry about the headbutting...holy was never known for headbutting until he fought tyson...and if holy was dirty then tyson was filthy

I love the end of the fight when Pacheco interviews Moorer and says something like "You were really getting beat in there, you looked off your game blah blah", then Moorer cuts him off and is kind of gets in his face and says,"But I still got up and fought though dog" staring at him " I still got up and fought"Pachecho, does a 180 and starts saying "Yes, yes you did you were a great warrior." Lol I thought Moorer was gonna hit em for a sec..he was in that just k.o.'d daze still kinda shellshocked a bit.

Lennox would have beaten him at any point.

i agree Holy won the second. it is rarely talked about b/c the first fight was such a travesty, but both the Ring and AP had Holyfield winning the second fight. The first decision was so bad that Evander would have had to KO LL to get the win

Lewis beat Evander at his own game in the rematch. Just plain outboxed him in the 1st .

Moorer- Holy 2 is one of my favourite fights . People forget Evander was rocked in the 1st round of that fight by a right hook . Then he came back firing at Moorer , dropping him 5 times . Great fight. Great finish
