Default If You Could Make One Fight Tomorrow

OK, so I'm still trying to learn as much as I can about MMA and to be honest, outside of the UFC spectrum of things I don't really know what fights MMA fans want. I know a couple but figured this would create well enough discussion.

So if you could make one fight tomorrow, what would it be?

Mine would DEFINITELY be Kid Yamamoto versus Urijah Faber in the cage. I know I might have to wait to see if Yamamote qualifies for the Olympics first but I think this is the fight for the lower weights that absolutely has to happen. Two of the most high energy, high intensity fighters in all of the sport and they fight at the same division, a division that doesn't really have enough star power to draw in audiences. This would certainly go a long way in helping that. I hope it happens.

Your turn, one fight, what would it be?

Kid Yamamato is arguably the best 145 pound MMA fighter in the world, but he has been mainly on K1's shows so hasn't got much exposure...I hadn't heard of the guy till a couple of months ago when they kept mentioning him on Sherdog so I watched some vids and looked him up...a real stud....supposedly he will come to the US soon to face Faber. I also like to see him and Faber fight Pulver now that he is going to move down in weight.

ok that will be something i will be watching for. i actually fight at 135 but i dont know anyone notable in my wieght class. and your right i have been focusing on my jujitsu. I actually think Faber would beat Pulver thats just my thought after watching them fight once or twice.

I'm actually happy with the way things are going now, the PRIDE buyout is making alot of 'what if' fights happening. While I'd like to see some certain fighters in UFC, most of my dream matchups could happen in the near future. I would like to see Fedor fight for the UFC heavyweight title though, whether it be Gonzaga or Couture he faces.
