Default I don't understand boxing rankings?

How could a guy who is the chamion of the Wba not be recognized in the top 15 by the WBC and vice versa. I am looking at the rankings now and its all wrong. How could this possibly be?

You got enough money you can make your fighter number 1 in the rankings. The rankings are all corrupt. That's why there hard to understand.

Each alphabet organization has a rule where they do not rank another alphabet organizations champion.

The reason that the rankings are screwy is that they are sort of bought. An alphabet gang will put the word out: "he we are having a box off for a ranking spot/regional title." The good/established fighters dont need to pay the high sactioning fees, so they pass, while the guys like Tony Thompson who are unknown, will play along with it so that they can become known fighters. In the end you have fighters like Ray Austin being ranked #1 contender while fighters like Sam Peter are not even ranked.
