    Default Combos

I play Round 3 on PS2, and I can't figure out how some people can throw insane 5 or 6 punch combos fast as hell. I use the analog sticks. Do you have to use the buttons to throw combos like this?

    Its not too hard really..

To land them in a competitive fight is more tricky then throwing them..

Things like one two left hook to the head left hook to the body work well..

Lead left upper, strait right left hook.. Then go to the body if possible..

right upper left hook strait right left hook body n to the head..

And of course mixing it up you can do three or more uppers to the body and work your way upto the head with hooks and more uppers

    S'fun ..Lol

It happened to me again last night. I was playing online and I swear this guys punches seem like they flow so smooth. Like 6 shots in a fluid motion that there is no way I could do using the analog stick. I would throw 2-3 punch combos, and when I stop punching he would return 5 or 6 making it tough for me to fight on the inside.

You should see my record punching featherweight. I swear on occasions I've landed a 12 punch combination. Here's my little secret... In a smaller motion than you would use to work on a cut, you move the stick back and forth with it pointing upwards. Not too fast, just enough that one punch flows into another, when you get really good at that then you can work on particular punches, then hit them where they're open.

Yes, the tip helped me get off better combos, but I think I took it overboard and just about blew out my analog stick. I've always been more of an A,B,A,B,left, right, left, right kind of guy.

lol, Niiiiiiice. Whatever works for you just do it. I've been using the thumb sticks since I got the game and that works great for me, I might try it with the buttons to and see how that feels. I don't think you can pull off haymakers using buttons alone.

Anyways the cool thing about flurries when mixed in with defense and a little strategy it can make an opponent want to throw caution to the wind. Who wants to be on the recieving end of a 4+ combo? Most people will try to throw punches and parry here and there. Now if you can get them to throw some hard punches you can easily parry them and throw some haymakers, if you can make them throw a haymaker you can then parry and counter with an even harder stun punch.

Just use configartion 3 on the controls and then you can use the buttons to do fast combos online
