According to Boxingtalk, Cintron is going to be back in action Sept 8 against Jesse Feliciano. It will be on the Vargas-Mayorga undercard.
That undercard is looking pretty damn good.

what a step down
Most bad government has grown out of too much government. Thomas Jefferson
Thats bad!! he will stop him for sure, he needs to try and mix in with the top people, not bums like Feliciano. I hope he changes his mind about this one.
I agree he'll destroy Feliciano, but I think he's just keeping busy after a long layoff. I don't mind a little tune up
I don't know, I'm not sure that Matthysse is really on that much higher of a level than even a guy like Feliciano.Originally Posted by VanChilds

Its just a stay busy fight, I guess. Feliciano's perfect for Cintron, kinda like Matthysse was. Cintron definitely has to pick it up. First Matthysse and now this, actually the best guy he's fought since Margarito was David Estrada.
He'll get another KO and get more hype. There are so many top fighters around,I don't see why he should be taking another easy fight? Credit for staying active though. I just think Estrada,Suarez,Mathysse and Feliciano are ok fighters at best in a division which is super deep.
First or second round ko.Maybe third round this kid Feliciano has a good chin.
I love it: a fighter staying active. you dont see that much anymore. Now days it seems like fighters just want to sit on their asses and wait for the multi million dollar fights.
Feliciano is a tough ass hole though. He out lasted Delvin Rodriguez who is also a big puncher and KO'd him. I doubt he'll do the same to Cintron, but he's more than game and will come to fight. Really, a great fight would be Joshua Clottey vs. Kermit Cintron. That should be made soon.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
Well if Cintron can stay busy, then I don't know why Margarito can't either. They should have let them get a rematch on the undercard for Oscar/Mayorga.
I agree, Hulk.Originally Posted by Hulk
Good to see Cintron staying busy. I think Feliciano will stick around awhile... soaking up some huge shots as long as it goes.
I agree that Cintron/ Clottey would be great!!!

I am looking forward to seeing him fight again he really impressed me the other night, he could do with a better opponent though.
Don't know about you guys, but I'd love to see a Judah/ Cintron fight!
