This kid appears to have the goods to be a serious contender maybe even champion. Dibella has done a nice job bringing him along and I am excited about following his career. Damn Welter is a freaking deep division!

That division is stacked up like the tower of Pisa, crazy things will be happening all over the place. I expect Berto to be a big part of it in the coming few years.

Berto has been looking sharp, he's got good combinations, cuts the ring down well and has definite power. Cosme Rivera will be a good test for him to see how good he is, he should KO Rivera within the middle rounds IMO. Rivera did go the distance in a close fight with Joel Julio I've heard, so he could do the same with Berto. Like Atlas said before, I would love to see a Berto vs. Julio matchup soon. I'd put my money on Berto.
