    Default Marquez Vazquez stoppage

I think that was a good stoppage by ref. yeah marquez through a couple weak shots back at vazquez but vazquez was landed hard shot at will.

atleast with a early stoppage we can get a 3dr fight where as with a late stoppage we could lose a good fighter.

I also thought it was a good stoppage. Marquez was staggering backward not just moving straight back as Bernstein said. While on the subject of Bernstein, I usually like his commentary. What I didn't like was how he said the was "loath" to criticize a referees actions then proceeds to throw Ref. Garcia under the bus after he gets to watch the end of the fight at several different angles, in real time and in slow motion. Maybe Al should get in there and see if he can do a better job.

It was as arguable as the Young Mutley vs Kevin Anderson stoppage IMO. It looked like it was only going to get worse for Marquez in the coming moments but at the same time he was quite with it, Although I hate calling stoppages early because they can be life saving, Larios could quite easily have been killed if the ref let him carry on against Linares.

As many times as marquez has been hurt and come back...i think it was wrong to stop it that early.

With still over a minute left (1:45 sec), legless Rafa, and energetic Vazquez hammering him with power combos,..

I'd say it was a good stoppage.

I saw it as a good stoppage as well, I mean Marquez was swinging back at first but they were not as effective as Vazquez neither as much shots. I think the ref made a good call I mean look at both of their faces during the fight & defiantly after the fight, but not even looking at that. I gu3ess what people see was that Marquez was not totally dead as he did swing back but I mean he started to run to different spots of the ring to hopefully get out of Vazquez fierce combinations and swing some back of his own, but none the less it was a good decision. They are giving the ref a lot of shit about the stoppage.

After everything I've read, I'm gunna have to sit down and watch this fight. I watched Morales destroy Diaz instead and turned my TV off in disgust at the result.

Watching it I didn't have a problem with it, Marquez looked done even though he was throwing a few. He went to the wrong corner to end the round before. And at the end he went straight back and looked done to me.
