Hatton vs PBF at the Staples Centre, LA??

According to an article in the MEN, the reason the venue for the fight hasn't been confirmed yet as the MGM is because they are considering taking the event to the Staples Centre in LA!! It holds around 20'000 over MGM's 16-17'000. Hattons camp are requesting around 10'000 tickets for the Brits so Golden Boy are considering moving to a bigger venue. They also estimated 5'000 Brits have already booked up for Vegas. Not a major problem as the Staples Centre is a 5 hour drive away but a bit of an inconvenience.
Your thoughts? Anybody read this?

Yeah ive read it but its not exactly new news, we have known for about 2-3 weeks its between the staples centre or MGM grand.

I hope it is at the staples center seeing as how I work less then 5 minutes away

if it is and anyone is interested I may be able to get some room discounts at the downtown LA Marriott

Staples Centre is much, much better for me as i can drive there in under 2 hours.

Well sorrrrrryyyyy Mr Know All..first I had heard of it!

I for one hope it's at the MGM..I've already booked up there. Won't be the end of the world for me if it was at the Staples Centre..but just a bit of an inconvenience. I'm still guessing Vegas is favourite. What with all the money to be made by Casino's etc from the event.
