Not sure about the sparring.
I'd take Toney to beat G-man by a close UD
I'd take the Middleweight version of James Toney to stop the G Man somewhere in the 10th...
the G man was made for JT imo. at middleweight i see james toney winning a wide UD. at super middleweight or above, i see a tko/ko for toney
I think Toney would survive the early onslaught and put on masterful boxing display just watched his fight with Nunn otherday that was masterful display of boxing by Toney in last 4 rounds.
Toney has the chin and boxing skills to beat G man i know G man was good but i don't think he was great technical boxer i see alot of flaws in G man that Toney would be able to take advantage of.
sorry if i sound a bit dumb but whos g man
Gerald McClellan the man who knocked down Benn in first round who had that bad injury where he almost died in the fight vs Benn remember ?? he also koed Julian Jackson twice.Originally Posted by ACEA

I always find it funny how many people talk about how Nunn was dominating the fight right up to the time Toney landed one punch. Its one of those myths of boxing that people just hear and repeat. Toney had won the three previous rounds, and was winning that one when he knocked Nunn out.
back i totally agree Nunn had the best of it in early going then Toney started to comeback strong in later stages and Nunn was barely ahead on scorecards i loved the way Toney broke him down people go on about how Toney got lucky punch not true at all people who say that haven't seen the fight and have only seen highlights or listening to the wrong people that was picture perfect shot Tonet landed and it wasn't from a lucky punch it was from Toney breaking him down.Originally Posted by OumaFan
Toney would win at Super middle like he schooled the Blade.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
G-Man may have had an edge in power but boxing and defense goes to Toney and therefore I say Toney puts the lights out late in the fight.
