Remember Calderon's fight with Sandoval? SAndoval was much taller but Calderon survived that battle. I just don't know how he will handle a fighter like Cazares. Calderon's KO wins is only 6.Don't think he will have a chance against Cazares.

Wow Calderon looks tiny! To fight at straweight and still be dwarfed by your opponents just how freaking small you do have to be?

Seriously he must be shorter than Gary Goleman?

Anyways I've been reading a bit on this fight and apparantly it's the biggest fight in this tiny division for years and should be a barnburner so I'm actually looking forward to watching this.

(Bilbo would like to make asbolutely clear that he still thinks the tiny weights suck and that he is only tuning in for the curiousity factor and will not be doing another about turn like he did with MMA)

I read that the contract states Cazares must not be over 118 the night of the fight. I didn't know they could do that in a contract. Considering that he has already had problems in weight. Do you think this would be a problem? Is there a risk the fight might not even take place??

I'm goin with calderon in this one. I don't like the whole 118 thing though, you have to worry about weight in camp, at weigh in, and now the day of the fight as well and with his weight issues it's possible for him to have to come in the ring exausted while everyone else is re-hydrating and resting. I hope that part of the contract isn't true...

I'm not worried about the desparity.... Photos are decieving plus you see the same mass and height differences in the other weight divisions quite often, this is nothing out of the ordinary

Cazares is definitely a big 108 pounder but I'm still going with Calderon. Dissapointed this is on PPV considering there's no boxing this week on HBO or Showtime. But I guess it wouldn't be good business wise, not a lot of people are gonna watch guys at this weightclass.

How odd that someone can win a 108 lb title while weighing 118 lbs.

This is going to be a cracking fight!! Don't be fooled by the size difference, because P4P,Calderon is top 5 for boxing skills. I'm still going with Ivan but I've been watching Cazares fights and man he's skilled. He's certainly not a stupid banger,he knows what he's doing in there. Should be a good one!

For your information, Cazares usually weight apromimately 126, while defendinf a 108 title.
