it's crazy how don king kinda just vanished from the boxing scene. it's like he's obsessed with the heavyweights cause oscar is building a foundation as a promotor for the lower weight classes. what gives?

Leave me explain something about Don King...He may have been a thief, cheat and all around low life but the man made boxing what it is today as far as the money it generates....The man is a genius and anyone who does not see that knows nothing....king made the first hundred million and billion dollar events and laid the ground work for every promoter to come....He was smart and stole out of Tex Rickard's handbook....
I don't like the guy and he has robbed then left broke many friends of mine in the boxing business but he knew what he was doing....He is old and rich beyond any of our expectations that is for sure and could cares less for now....
If he was 20 years younger he would have made sure DLH got no where in the promotion business I can promise that..

I wasn't aware that there'd ever been a billion dollar fight and I remember reading recently that King is facing money problems. It was in some court case where he couldn't show enough assets to cover guarantees he'd made in some deal and he lost the case because he couldn't come up with the guarantees.
