In the Daily Mirror, 3,000+ phoned in that they thought Eubank won (to Watson's 5,000+)

While in The Sun, 1,900 phoned for Eubank and 9,000 for Watson

So around 5,000 people were willing to pay money to vote that Eubank won that fight, general British public

It's said that on one side of the ring, every person in every row were convinced Eubank had won every round bar the 10th! While on another side of the ring, many thought Watson had won every round!

From the TV cameras, to me it looks like Eubank clearly. Eubank's an honest bloke, and he said (at the time) after viewing the tape that he thought he won clearly and asked people to watch it with the sound off

Eubank had a lot of dodgy decisions when he held the WBO title, and he all but says it that he had to be knocked out to loose the title as he made money for the organisation and they were not going to see him loose.

It was close, the ref Harry Gibbs was pretty straight its how he saw it. They were both from S E London I think Cooper felt betrayed by Gibbs

Eamon Magee v Shea Neary was a bad decision.
