Middleweight boxer Joey Gilbert (16-1, 12 KOs) has failed the post fight drug test following his September 21 KO win over Charles Howe in Reno and has been suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission. According to the Reno Gazette, Gilbert tested positive for numerous banned substances including Stanozolol Metabolite, methamphetamine, amphetamine, nordiazepam, oxazepam and temazepam. He has 20 days to respond to the NSAC and is facing possible longterm suspension, fine and/or license revocation.
