Madden 07 Superstar Mode -- HELP!

I created a "superstar" this evening for the first time. I'm not sure why I kept avoiding this part of the game.

My star is a HB height:5'8 weight: 209 Barry Sanders?!

Anyway, I was drafted by the Niners and I am not pleased AT ALL. I need an East Coast team, baby.

How do I go about getting traded before the season starts? Is this even possible? Can I refuse to sign and become a free agent? HELP!

You save before you get drafted then you keep reloading your superstar until he gets drafted by a team you want him to be on. Remember, it's not about being on your favorite team as its better if you're just on a team where you have a strong cast around you.

I'd of bet money that you'd have an answer for me.

My playstation2 and my copy of madden06 as well as my memory card were jacked a few days ago so all i've had is madden 07 on my friends xbox.
