Default Who WILL calzaghe fight next?

im sure this has been discussed a lot over last week, but who do you reckon he will fight next?not who we want but who we think is most likely?id love it to be hopkins but i just cant get my hopes up,warren will probably search the globe for a dangerous heavy handed steel willed opponent for ol'joe!he deserves to fight fellow legends now!he has earned it,i see hopkins as the easiest viable fight out there for calzaghe

I think Joe will fight Hopkins in NY then RJJ in Cardiff. It's all about the money now for Joe. I thought HBO might make him fight the Taylor-Pavlik winner but it looks like a couple of money fights for Joe then retirement.

i would be delighted if that is what happens.i have alreadly decided that if JC fights hopkins in NY i will get a ticket and make it my first live boxing in the US.it would take all my student loan though. Not sure how likely RJJ is,would be a great goodbye to one of boxings greatest ever exponents

i feel its got to be hopkins really, he's the man at LH now and thats where the money is.. If joe could take care of him he should fight the JT/KP winner but that would prob be made at a catch weight.. he could then fight either Woods or Froch in his home town Cardiff and make that his final fight before retirement..

ive got to say if he could win them 3 fights the ni think he could be considered the second greatest boxer ever to come from Britain, maybe even no 1 theres only Lewis who could rival him..

i fear it will be woods next too.also i think he is already well clear in 2nd place in braitains greatest fighters.lewis first, joe second, daylight third fourth and fifth and hatton sixth.it may have a modern era bias but it could be argued that its fair as british boxing has had its strongest ever decade

from what ive seen wilde was ridiculously talented but he hasnt achieved what the aforementioned three have.

How can anyone say Hopkins is "the man" at LHW?

He beat Tarver ages ago and since has only beaten a bloated up Winky. Hopkins is really not the deal at LHW.

Calzaghe takes a nice cash cheque by beating him up though.

According to Joe in his autobiography he says that a fight with Woods won't happen because Warren and Hobson both want to stage the promotion and neither of them will budge an inch.

I don't think a fight against Clinton does much for his legacy to be honest.

If he can't get Hopkins the only fight that would be worthwhile would be Roy Jones if he looks good against Trinidad. Altho Jones is past his best it still does a something for his legacy.....and his back pocket.
