    Default Gally's Log.

    Im recently back from a couple of weeks out with a slight shoulder injury, and the lay off has done me the world of good, shoulder feels good and i have a renewed passion for training, so ive decided to start a log to keep a chart of my progress, any input would be great thx guys.

    Sorry forrgot im 24 been boxing around 2 yrs medicalled but havent fought yet hoping to be ready for january feb time as trainers were tryna match me efore injury, im 6ft2 and just under 12 stone. wanna be about 11stone 4 to fight.

    Day 1, morning 1 hour roadwork cross country, includiong alot of hills, stretching and core training.

    pm ten 80 metre sprints with 30 seconds rest after each sprint.

    That's a heavy amount of running if you didn't do much while you had time off. Pull up a bit sore? Core training with the morning run is clever though.

    I think it's good to pair core training with running for good posture and form CC gally. I suspect if I'd always done that and stretched more I never would have hurt my knee. You've inspired me to try to be more organized with that

    havent been able to get to comp last few days been training twice daily tho cuz had a few days off work, running and core training in the morn and club training at night.
    Thx Sharla ive always ran as i love it sets up the day perfect for me even before i started boxing, and im running the london marathon next yr for charity so need to keep them lungs in shape lol, (anyone fancy sponsoring me for heart uk? lol justgiving/alexboden.com if you do haha) core training and runnning has always been apart of my schedule as they used to stress it when i used to play high level college basketball and ive carried it on . cc back.

    30 mins roadwork in morn incorporating interval sprints. weights and cross traing followed by 500 metre swim ( tryna increase aerobic capacity still after injury.

    Training went well good to be back there, was an intense warm up then a whole session on leg conditioning squat punch squat ect, lunges, bent knee holds squat jumps burpees, being tall i really felt this but enjoyed. ( not gonna be able to walk tommorow
