Default Got back from NYC, and I can't believe what I'm reading...

Firstly, it was amazing. Atmosphere was superb and it was great to see Cotto so diverse from his usual gameplan. I went to see Cotto win and I got what I wanted.

But...I get back on here expecting to see nothing but praise...yet people are criticising him. I've said ever since the Corley fight (and I know it wasn't his best performance, but in the fight I saw something) that he was special and I truly believe that he is the best Welter in the world. As much as I love Hatton, I would never put him in with Cotto. Cotto showed ability to adapt his style. He was much faster than Shane and completely outboxed him. I had the scores wider than what were given and pretty much everyone around me knew the result wasn't in any doubt.

So I'm asking...after that performance, why is there a thread saying "this proves he'll never beat Floyd?" I'd love to hear the argument on that, because I have no doubt in my mind that Cotto would pick Floyd apart.

lol, cheers man. Twas awesome. Cotto is all wrong for Hatton. Hatton loves to pressure, but I see Cotto doing the same thing. Cotto hits harder me thinks, and unfortunately, I don't think Hatton would be able to ride that storm. I'd be rooting for Hatton, but his pressure fighting would see him get hurt in that fight.

I knew the result was never in doubt either but I did score it exactly as 2 judges had it. 115-113 Mosely. Mosely could have tied it up for me had he won the 11th. Each round Cotto was winning he was winning it big. I was surprised by Cotto's boxing skills and speed. Impressive!

    Hope you got pics!!!
Did ya make the weigh in? Was delighted it was such an entertaining fight!

Cotto is great, he really is, but for me he's there to be outboxed by Hatton, i don't for one second believe that Hatton would KO or stop him but i do see Hatton beating him by S or UD.
I hope it's a fight we will see and after the Floyd fight we'll get to see how Welter really suits Rick.

I forgot the digital camera. Had to buy a disposable out there and got some stuff. Got a couple of vids on my fone too. No idea how to get em on the web or on the forum yet though.
