Default Most exciting buildup for a fight this year?

I freaking can't wait until tomorrow night. I've been having dreams about it, watching anything on it I can, reading articles, checking the posts here - I don't think I'm alone, either.

I was pretty psyched for the Pavlik/Taylor fight, and Calzaghe/Kessler, and Cotto/Mosley, but the hype on this one is getting heavy!

....I think it's all because I'd love to see Mayweather get beat. I think he may be on the cusp of true superstardom, just because a lot of people want to see him shut up. But let's face it, he's a phenomenal talent, and I'll probably end up shelling out a lot of cash to the man, and probably never see it happen.

Damn it! Why does he have to be so good AND so arrogant?? I can't afford too many more of these

Why does his arrogance bother you. I'm one of the few it seems who feels he comes across as quite a nice kid deep down. Sure he's flash and cocky but he's living the dream.

Who wouldn't want to be filthy rich, drive fast cars, whup people's asses etc?

I'm just not a fan of arrogance. He may very well be alright off the camera, it's not that he's arrogant at a personal level - I wouldn't know. It's the portrayed arrogance that bugs the crap outta me.

Either way, it works - I've talked my Dad into letting me get the fight, so Floyd got my money.

    Plasma screen, here I come!!!

It has the potential to be a wild one - if it lives up to half the hype, we're in for a hell of a fight.

For me this year as far as build up and waiting for it.

Nothings come close to Kessler vs. Joe.

Really I didn't even notice the build up to that fight. Both great fighters but too polite and respectful of each other to get hyped up for. I can't even remember the build up at all.

I like it when they hate each other. Vargas Mayorga was a great buildup, although Hatton Floyd has been the best.

I also loved the buildup to Floyd and Oscar, Floyd stealing Oscar's handbag and giving a stare down to a chicken being two highlights.

Floyd's getting more colorful, to me anyway. I can laugh at him and wanna see him get KO'd all at the same time

He seems to be getting better with the "bad guy" role. With the fights he's made lately and the numbers he's showing, something's working.

I still don't know which fight I've been more hyped for, but this one will have to be great to top Pavlik/Taylor, for me. I love seeing a guy get up off the canvas to win.

Well they had a countdown, Joe had plenty of documentaries... Mikkel had one documentary.
And Mikkels my boy! so for me that takes my vote.

Was the countdown where they showed the interview with Kessler and his mom? That part cracked me up - he looked like "Aw, ma..." the whole way through
