Default Good interview with Joan Guzman(Soto had to re wrap his hands?)

Humberto Soto was told to re wrap his gloves, because they were wrapping them ilegally!? Similar to Tito v B Hop scenario according to the writer. I also like this part:

“I have no respect for Pacquiao, He has turned me down so many times. His people around him and media in the Philippines have asked why am I being so demanding and who have I beaten to deserve a shot at Pacquiao? Well I want them to ask themselves that same question. What did Pacquiao do to deserve a shot at Marco Antonio Barrera when they fought the first time? But Barrera being a true warrior he gave the unknown and unheard of Pacquiao a chance. Pacquiao is not doing this; he’s being protected by his people. No disrespect to Juan Manuel Marquez, I think he deserves his shot at Pacquiao too. I am hoping to fight the winner. Don’t be surprised if Marquez knocks his ass out,” said Guzman. He's wanted Manny since they were at 122. He deserves his shot at someone for sure, world champ, undefeated and good to watch.

Guzman stylistically does resemble Floyd, however the difference in their fights and in the ned their legacies will be their mindsets.

Floyd as he has always said is a winner. He goes to win and in his mind if he has to put everybody to sleep he will do it. But he will win. Floyd has the best boxing mind of our generation (I acknowledge he belongs near Ali and Robinson in terms of Ring Generalship.)

Guzman has a fiestier mentality, he wants stoppages and exciting wins and will go toe to toe to get it. At this weight it may not pose a problem but going up in weight it may pose problems and may serve losses. He didn't have to stand and trade with Soto yet he did often and succesfully.
However with Floyd Sr. in his corner I feel that he may mature out of this logic and become a great fighter

CC back.He fights a bit like Mayweather but that has only been later in his career. It's onyl his shoulder roll really. He was known as little Tyson at the lower weights because he was so agressive.

after the 2nd round his corner advise him to stick to their game plan..stick and jab and run,run.....even if he decided to trade...he is not gonna knock anyone out in this division ( weight )..his power left him after 122....joan is a good boxer.....but wants stoppage and exciting wins?? no way! his last 5 or 6 fights were evrything but boring....

I agree with the artist formerly known as ICE COLD; Guzman will beat Sacman At least a UD win.

Well Guzman made a legitimate point which is difficult to refute.Who was Pacquiao before he fought MAB?A good fighter but in terms of $$$,he was a nobody and got a shot at MAB. Guzman is in the same place as Manny was then except he is much more well known than Manny was at that point. So out goes the what has he done argument.

Joan's style would give every fighter at 130 ad 135 problems. He has decent pop,an awesome shoulder roll and good lateral movement.I'm saying all this anD I'm not even a fan,I just call it like I see it. Defensively,he seems much better than Morales, and MAB.Even Marquez. And he uses lateral movement better than those guys,or certainly uses more of it and that gives anyone problems. So yeah,it would be a tough fight for Manny.
