Great link. i was suprised Arnold didn't do better, I would have thought with his 52 " chest he'd have lifted 600 lbs or more in his prime.

Tiger Woods was the big suprise though. He can bench 300 lbs

Will Smith is a strong guy too.

I wonder what Stallone, Van Damme, Seagal, Snipes and that huge guy from the Green Mile can do?

I think with Arnold he probably could have hit 600 if he would have applied himself since he's blessed with those genetics, but since bodybuilders do different workout routines than powerlifters (less weight and more reps), he probably figured it would hinder his physique. I remember reading once that Van Damme maxed at 345, also curious about Seagal and Stallone, but I get the feeling the guy from the Green Mile can lift a ton. I also always wondered what Tyson benched. Like Arnold, I know he probably had to hold back because that can mess with boxers like bodybuilders, but with Mike's build (short arms) and natural strength, I'll bet if he dedicated himself he'd be putting up over 500.

Guys in my gym bigger than me with years of experience have come right and said they won't spar with me because I hit too hard. But if you'd still like to try....

i agree with your statement. i often spar with the same partner he can bench almost twice as much as I can but i have much heavier hands than him and i tend to knock him down atleast twice a week he's yet to knock me down ever yet (KNOCK ON WOOD) lol
