Default Watching fights delayed - when will TV companies learn

Ok so I just watched the Jones Trinidad on Setanta - proved to be the mismatch I thought it would be (though no KO). Could never understand why Tito was fighting at that weight

Anyway thats another story - the real reason for my post is the grievance I have below

The programme was on for an hour, 1.30 - 2.30, and after a few seconds intro it goes straight to the fight with the guys face to face at centre of the ring getting last instructions from the referee. Straightaway I knew the fight would go the distance as in longer programmes they would have talked about it a bit first and shown the guys walking to the ring and the introductions. They basically gave it away.

This happens time and time again - ok I should have stayed up and watched it but I was too tired last night. At least when they show the full ring walks etc.. and kill time and kind of give it away that its a short fight you at least know you are in for a KO finish of some sort.

Really effs me off Anyone else think this ? Or am I just moaning like an old man

You already knew there was a possibility you'd guess the outcome by the repeat coverage (i know what you mean).. then why take the chance instead of recording it live?

To lazy to set it up

    yep too lazy

sky used to show the build up whatever and the fighters walking to the ring as their next day show was still 3 hours long etc..

Guess I should have known better with it only scheduled for an hour
