Ok Ill treat this as if we havent had this thread all ready
See,do you mean greatest, most of those lists have allready been done
But if you went favourite boxers, alot of that would be left to the subjective, some guys you like, just because you like watching them box,and even though you may have tape on a guy,its not the same as being around when they were at their prime.
    My faves,in no particular order
    Bernard Hopkins
    Larry Holmes
    Ray Boom Boom Mancini
    Ali
Angel Manfreddy(I have no idea why on this one,I just liked watching him)
    The young version of Bowe
    Roberto Duran
    Sugar Ray L
Tim Witherspoon(again it doesnt have to be logical,I just liked the guy)
Tommy Hearns(this last one was a toss up between him and Hagler)

Oddly enough,if I went all time faves to watch,Id toss Sonny Liston on there,
His fights absolutely leave me in stitches, the dirty stuff he gets away with in there is beyond the pale.
What can I say,Im from Philly,we're raised to appreciate an artfully done eye gouge.
Allways away from the refs line of sight, done quickly, efficient, etc
The casual fan may not like it,but stuff like thats part of the sport as well, sort of like Hopkins 5 quick shots to the thigh in a clinch

Yeah that was a cracking book:
"Boxing ain't the noblest of arts...
and I ain't the noblest of artists."

You know footage of his fights is dead rare! If you know somebody that has some you should tell um to copy it, it'd be worth a mint!

And yeah, he was a man well before his time alright!

    I have always loved
Marciano: To small, to slow... Not a great boxer. But he would knock you the fuk out.
    Liston: Just loved his style
Joe louis: Just a master finisher
    Bhop: Sneaky, dirty old bastard
Joe C: His ability to outlast, out wit, out play
Gatti: The same reason my love for Katsidis is growing.. Cuz so is his legend.
    Cotto: Beat him... Just try.
    Corrales: Castillo(nuf said)
RJJ: His dominant speed and skill
Jack Johnson: Being a great fighter and not giving a fuk.
Vinny Paz: "When the legs go like spagetti, I'm all over em like the sauce!"
Kelly Pavlik: for taking what was rightfully his.
    Andre Berto: He's getting there
Ricky Hatton: for having a huge set...
Sugar Ray Robinson: One of the best P4P ever
Sugar Ray Leonard: for bringing the showman back
Lamotta: "I fought sugar so many times, I'm surprised I'm not diabetic"

    There are just so many....

    I'd need all day

Mr. Cooper, have you looked in the mirror lately and seen the state of your nose?"
Cooper: "Well madam, have you looked in the mirror and seen the state of your nose? Boxing is my excuse. What's yours?"
