Default Tributes To Local Boxing Legend

Tributes have been paid to a local Hartlepool boxing legend JACKY HOSEMAN who sadly passed away in the weekend last.Jacky was a Featherweight boxer. He started as a professional back in 1938 at the age of 17 and retired in 1956.He had amazing 124 fights in total and would travel up and down the country to places such as Sunderland,Newcastle,Streatham,Wembley,Bury,Belfas t,for up and coming bouts. He was a boxing promoters dream by jumping at the chance on fighting anyone at short notice(DEDICATION!).He won the Nothern Area Title in May 1951 by outpointing Calisle's Don Scott in front of local 20,000 fans at the Hartlepool Grayhound Stadium.
    R.I.P JACKY HORSEMAN.

    R.I.P Jacky

124 fights they don't make them like that anymore... if they started to count now the guy would probably still get up before 10.
