Default Is this a good deal on an LCD TV ?

    I been offered a 1080p HD 40" Sony TV for just £80.

There's one problem though the TV is stuck on maximum volume.

    I can't really turn this down can I ?

Can you adjust the volume with the remote control? How much is it in US$? SONY is good brand, especially if it's made in japan.

if it's $160 then what you need to do is call a tv repair man and ask how much it will be to fix the volume.. there HAS to be a way to fix it..

if its less than $200 (probably even more) then you're getting a HELL of a deal.. hands down..

let's put it this way, if i only had $500 in my account and i had kids to feed and a christmas gift to get my wife, i'd still buy the TV at that price

I just got a 46" Sharp Aquos 1080i... That's NOT stuck on max volume

J/K... Yeah, there has to be a way to fix it... We'll, unless it's the main board where that could deffinitly be a problem...

Just got my room set up...

Got my 24 inch plasma, a laptop attached, plays all sopcast and recorded fights, Attached also is my Digital camera, got like 20 of my amateur bouts on it, various sparring sessions and vids, hooked up also is my DVD player, Got my fights collection by the bed, We got it hooked to the sound system and finally to a 1986 Nitendo Entertainment system,

Problem is I get to use it once a week cos I'm so freaking busy.

Just take it apart and cut the wires to the speakers. Connect it to an external amp and speakers then your in control of the volume and the sound will also be much fuller. TV speakers are shite.
