If you sign-up now you will start with 18,000 to purchase a stable of fighters.FANTASY BOXING LEAGUE
Fighters available to buy can be chosen starting from the Ring Rankings week starting 31/3/08 continuing. When new fighters are added to the rankings weekly they will be placed in the available section for players to purchase. When fighters exit the rankings they are removed unless already part of a stable. If a player has a fighter in their stable that is removed that fighter will remain but only have a dollar value of a $100 until they become ranked again.
Each fighter has been assigned a dollar value. This indicates how much it is to purchase that fighter. A fighters dollar value is reflective of his ranking and will change accordingly.
If a fighter in your stable wins against an unranked opponent he will win his stable $100. If your fighter loses to an unranked opponent he will lose his stable the amount of his dollar value.
If your fighter fights against another ranked fighter he will either win the opponents dollar value for your stable or lose your stable his own dollar value.
If two of the fighters in your stable sign to fight each other you will choose which fighter you want to back(Call it a split in your stable). The fighter you don't choose would then leave your stable. The fighter leaving will be auctioned with 70% of his dollar value being the starting price.
In case of a draw both fighters will receive a payout of half the others dollar value.
If a fighter retires he would just leave your stable. You would keep any money he had made for your stable.
You can sell a fighter back at 70% of their dollar value and purchase other fighters with the money made or just keep the funds in your account as back up. If a fighter in your stable loses you will not be able to sell him until the next Ring Ratings come out. Any rank change will affect dollar values. When selling back a fighter if you think you maybe able to get more than the 70% buy back price you can hold an auction. The starting price will be the 70% buy back price and bids must increase in $100 amounts. The auction will last for 24 hours from when the auction is posted in the thread.
To buy a fighter you must post it on this thread. If one or more players are interested in purchasing the same fighter an auction will be held. Bids must increase by a minimum of $100 amounts starting from the fighter’s dollar value.
The player who posted 1st to purchase the fighter will start the auction at the fighters dollar value. The auction will last for 24 hours from when the 1st player posted to purchase the fighter.
You may purchase fighters from other stables if they agree to the sale. The minimum offer must be 70% of the fighters dollar value. The fighter will be auctioned as normal.
If you are interested in purchasing an unranked it will only be allowed if they are scheduled to meet a Ring ranked fighter in their next fight. The fighter being purchased would be auctioned as normal but the starting price would be $900. The fight would have to take place, if it is canceled the sale will be reversed. If your fighter is beaten your stable will lose $900 no matter how much you paid for the fighter. If another stable defeats your fighter they will only earn $100 as your fighter is still technically unranked. Unranked fighters will always be auctioned even for new players. If he loses his dollar value will look like this $100/$900. Meaning that if you want to sell him it's $100 but if he loses for your stable it's $900.
Bankruptcy occurs when your money drops below $0. When bankrupt you will be given the opportunity to sell back some of your fighters at 70% of their value to try and pay back your debt. If you still cannot pay them off you will have to continue via the prospects route. Sales can only occur once the next weeks ratings have been released. Any change to your fighters ratings will affect their dollar value. Any extra monies made from the sale of your fighter(s) will be credited to your account.
When bankrupt and selling back fighters to pay off debt I will send a message containing buy back prices for your fighters. You have the choice to take that price or put your fighters up for auction. You have 24 hours from when I send you the message to inform me of what you would like to do. If you miss this deadline I will sell your fighters starting from the least expensive upwards until the debt is paid (only fighters with a minimum of $1,000 dollar value will be sold). If selling all your fighters to a minimum of 1 still can't cover your debt I will sell your most expensive fighter or a combination of your most expensive and least expensive fighters until the debt is recovered. Any extra money will be credited to your account.
When you go bankrupt you will receive a $200 payment and can purchase fighters from the prospect/ unranked fighters section for $100 each. Prospects/unranked fighters are assigned a dollar value of $100.
Prospects/unranked fighters can only be purchased by players whose stables go bankrupt or are forced to sell all their fighters to pay debt & are left with less than $,1000 left in their account.
You will be able to buy fighters for your stable in the order you sign up to play. I will PM you for your buys. Players will be given 24 hours from when I send him or her a message to buy their stable. If they do not respond within that time frame I will move onto the next player. If you took longer than 24 hours to buy your stable you will still have the opportunity to buy fighters but you will have to bid on the ones that are still available.
The sale will not be completed until the next weeks ratings have been released. Any rank change would affect the fighters dollar value. If two players want the same fighter then the 1st player to post in the thread to buy the fighter will get the sale.
PROSPECTS/ UNRANKED FIGHTERS CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED BY PLAYERS THAT GO BROKE & ONLY WHILE THEY HAVE NO RANKED FIGHTERS IN THEIR STABLE! UNLESS THAT UNRANKED FIGHTER IS SET TO MEET A RING RANKED FIGHTER IN HIS NEXT FIGHT. THEN AN UNRANKED FIGHTER CAN BE PURCHASED FOR THE STARTING BID OF $900.Available Fighters
