Definitely I think it's time for him to begin facing some better opposition although Gabi wasn't bad. Really like what I've seen out of him before, still some things to be ironed out.

Mares' victories over Priolo & Gabi were fantastic wins. Can't wait to see him in against a ranked guy. I'm sure he'll impress!!!

All I gotta say is what a difference a trainer makes.

Nacho in a interview done in Mexico said Mares packs a punch but he was wasting energy and not punching properly that is why he had gone the distance with Damian and had not had power shot KO's.
He said now that he has gotten Mares you will see another side of him and I believe Nacho.

I got some names maybe GBP can see this list and work something out.

Nacho should not push his young lion to hands of veteran master boxer Gerry "Fearless" Penalosa at this time... Why not match-up Rafa with Gerry? Gerry been calling out Rafa for years but was not entertained at all... Rafa needs to bounce back from the Vazquez loss...

When you've been in 3 brutal fights like the ones they've been the LAST thing they need is to get in the ring with a top fighter. You need to gradually get back into it and an easy fight for either Rafa or Izzy would not be something that many would be mad about...

Good. This kid is destined to be a World Champ. I can't see any other future for him. He is AWESOME.
